01Agreeing to these terms

By using Dialed Control web app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what the app stores about you.

02Who we are

Dialed is an independent project run by Dialed LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Focus V or Puffco. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners, and we name them only to say what our software and services work with.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Dialed" mean Dialed LLC, which runs Dialed, Dialed Control and Dialed Works.

03Who can use it

Dialed is about vaporizer devices. You must be at least 21 years old, or older if that is the legal age where you live, to use anything we offer.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including those about the products these devices are used with. Do not use Dialed where doing so is illegal.

04Beta software and closed firmware

Dialed Control is in beta: it is unfinished, changes often, and can have faults.

Firmware images are closed to the public while we test. You can install and update only if your account's confirmed email address has been given access. We can grant, refuse or withdraw access at any time.

Do not share, mirror, publish or resell firmware images, or try to get around the access controls.

05Your device, your risk

Dialed firmware changes the software on your device. It is not made, approved or supported by the manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty may not cover problems that custom firmware causes (we do not control it), and installing it can stop your device working. We build in checks before an install and a way back to factory firmware, but we cannot promise they will work on every device and every situation.

These devices get hot. Heating only starts when you start it, but you are responsible for it: stay with it while it heats, keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable, and do not use settings you do not understand. Stop a session at any time with the device's own button.

Nothing we publish is medical, legal or safety advice.

06Your account

You do not need an account to connect a device and use the app. An account lets you keep your session history across devices, see your stats and, if you choose, appear on a leaderboard.

To create an account you tick a box agreeing to these terms and the Privacy Policy and confirming you are 21 or older. We record which version of the documents you agreed to and when.

Give us accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one person.

You can sign in with your email and a password, or with Discord. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which removes your account, devices and synced sessions.

If you appear on the leaderboard, your public name must not impersonate another person or our staff, and must not be offensive. We may change a name, remove an entry that looks fabricated, or take someone off the leaderboard. The leaderboard counts only sessions that pass plausibility checks.

07Your data

Your presets, curves, lights and settings are yours; they live on your device. You give us permission to store and process what you choose to sync, in the ways described in the Privacy Policy, so that the features you turn on can work.

08Acceptable use

Do not use Dialed Control web app to break the law, to harm anyone or anyone's device, or to harass people.

• Do not try to break, overload, scan or probe our systems, or to get around limits, access controls or rate limits.
• Do not scrape or copy it in bulk, or use it to build a competing service from our work.
• Do not fake sessions, use another person's account or give a leaderboard name meant to mislead.

09Links and other services

We link to services we do not run, such as Discord, Terpline and the social pages of glass makers. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.

Signing in with Discord and the emails we send (through Resend) involve those companies; the Privacy Policy explains what they receive.

10Our content

The Dialed name and logo, our designs, text, software and firmware belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and use Dialed Control web app for your own purposes. Do not use the Dialed name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to you.

11No warranty

Dialed Control web app is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises of any kind: not that it will always work, be free of faults or suit your purpose, and not that it will work with your particular device, firmware version or phone or computer. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, and then the law of the place decides.

12Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or damage to a device, and our total liability for anything connected with Dialed Control web app is limited to the amount you paid us for the thing the claim is about in the 12 months before it. If it was free, that amount is nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot be limited by law, including your legal rights as a consumer where you live.

13Changes, suspension and ending

We can change, pause or stop Dialed Control web app, or any part of it, at any time. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts others or our systems at risk.

You can stop using it whenever you like.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change matters we will make it clear. Using Dialed Control web app after a change means you accept the new terms.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the US state in which Dialed LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections that the law of the place where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.
